Hello! My name is Jessa Louve Bratten, I was born and raised in Missouri. I am originally from the southern rural areas around Buffalo MO but currently live near Columbia MO. I am inspired by the eclectic vibes surrounding Columbia but am also grateful I live 30 miles North in the woods. I tend to prefer the countryside as I feel more free and at peace with Mother Nature.

My mom homeschooled my brother and I as a single mother, she instilled in us the freedom of mind to pursue what you love no matter what other people think or say. She encouraged me to study what my heart called out for which was predominantly botany, art and Japanese. Sadly, I lost my mom at the age of 17, so I feel like part of my life is dedicated to pursuing my own expression and working hard no matter what to make her memory proud. Of course I’ve had many wonderful individuals along the way who’ve helped me including my dearest friend and husband Nathan.
